The team is working hard to make this year better than ever and we need your help to get the word out.
This year is going to be an ✨Event✨
Early fundraising will kick off on October 23rd with Phase One:
Freeform FSA!
Starting October 23rd, we encourage everyone to fund-raise whichever way they know best: go live playing your favorite game, post on social media, or reach out to family and friends! Each post, ask or livestream contributes and makes a real difference. But there's a twist: Every dollar raised during this phase directly affects Phase 2.
November 6th opens Phase 2:
STEAM-Powered Minecraft
On November 6th a modded Minecraft server (with custom STEAM-themed modpack) will go live! The trick? It's entirely powered by donations. Have you ever heard of a subathon? Same logic, different method. Every Dollar = 1 Minute of Uptime for the server. Once the timer hits 0, the server and the world are permanently deleted.
That means whatever is raised in phase 1 = the starting server uptime!
But wait there’s more! The server will also feature an objective-based narrative element, giving the server fun challenges to collect, build, and work together to make an event unlike any other!
You’re not required to stream the Minecraft server during phase 2. In fact, you don’t have to stream at all, you just need to be a fundraiser! Fundraisers are able to continue participating in the same way they did in phase 1, but we'd encourage you to join the server and collaborate with the other players in it.
That’s not all, we took all of your suggestions from 2025 and are implementing them into FSA 2026. That means easier fundraising campaign building, event calendars, branded donation bars, cleaner pop ups, information about what we do at Real Good AI, and SO MUCH MORE.

Now if you’re new to FSA: Full STEAM Ahead is a campaign to celebrate both our accomplishments for the year here at Real Good AI and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics).
Real Good AI was created by scientists and content creators who understand the real impact the arts have in getting people excited and hopeful for the future.
Which is why we’re reaching out to our fellow content creators, influencers, and livestreamers to be conductors on this journey. We know a lot of you either have similar backgrounds, or are just interested in making sure the future of AI is ethical and fair.
Our focus on online fundraising is no accident. As an organization, we take a work-first approach, which means focusing our energy on projects rather than traditional funding models that don’t align with our ideals.
So for 2026 we built our OWN fundraising platform IN HOUSE. Thanks to Dr Imene’s hard work we can run a global fundraising event without any part of your donation being taken by platform fees, so more goes directly to the mission. By keeping the bulk of our fundraising online, we can use in-person and virtual events like our Sweet Start-up and AI for Seniors workshops and The Scary Tapes Writing Competition to celebrate STEAM and make them accessible to overlooked communities without pressure to turn them into high-priced fundraisers.
What if you don’t stream or make content? What if you want to help support Full STEAM Ahead, but you don’t have an online audience?
As long as you have access to our website you can make your own fundraising campaign using our platform and get a custom link to share with friends and family.
Social Media promotes content that gets people talking not with generic copy paste words, but by engaging with the post. We talk a lot about algorithms and social media algorithms are designed to root out content that makes people talk. The best thing you can do to help us promote Full STEAM Ahead is not to game the system but to be a real HUMAN person reacting to our work. Telling the algorithm, "Hey, more of this, please.”
Throughout the event, we’ll be live often with special guests, creators, and community members all raising funds to keep Real Good AI moving forward and YOU can help by talking about what we’re doing, when we’re live, boosting the creators fundraising for us, and making your own fundraising campaigns!
With your help we can make Full STEAM Ahead 2026 a massive success and ensure that the research team here at Real Good AI can keep doing the work needed to illuminate the black box of AI.
